City offices in the City/County Government Center will be closed on Monday, May 29, 2023 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
The Municipal Service Center will also be closed on May 29 for all services, including refuse and recycling collection and bulky waste drop off. There will be no refuse and recycling collection on Monday, May 29.
- Refuse/garbage normally collected on Monday will be collected on Tuesday, May 30th with the normal Tuesday collection. Please have your materials set out by 5:00 am on Tuesday to accommodate the additional collections.
- Recycling collection, performed by Waste Management, will have a one-day service delay throughout the remainder of week.
Note: Yard waste and brush may still be dropped off during the holiday hours.
City Transit buses will not operate on May 29, but will resume regular routes on May 30.
The Senior Center will be closed on May 29 and reopen May 30.
Fond du Lac Public Library will be closed beginning Saturday, May 27 through Monday, May 29. They will reopen on Tuesday, May 30.
As always, Police and Fire Departments will be fully operational throughout the holiday period.
