NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received in the City Administrative office
\nlocated on the fourth floor of the City-County Government Center, 160 South Macy Street, Fond du
\nLac, Wisconsin 54936-0150 on or before 1:30 PM, April 24, 2025 at which time bids will be publicly
\nopened and read aloud in the City Manager\u2019s conference room for the contract identified as \u201c2025
\nTENNIS COURT REHABILITATION\u201d. Telephone and Fax bids will not be accepted.<\/p>\n
The work includes cleaning courts, new Armor over cracks, new 4 coat color system and striping at
\nButtermilk Creek Park.<\/p>\n
Specifications and Proposal Forms may be obtained on www.demandstar.com<\/p>\n
All bids shall be prepared on the proposal forms provided in the specifications and shall be
\naddressed to City of Fond du Lac, P.O. Box 150, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Each bid envelope
\nshall be properly identified on the face thereof \u201cSEALED BID \u2013 2025 TENNIS COURT
\nREHABILITATION FILE NO. 2025-044A.\u201d No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of (30) thirty
\ndays after the opening of said bids, without the consent of the Director of Public Works. The City
\nof Fond du Lac may reject any or all bids on any basis and without disclosure of any reason. The
\nfailure to make a disclosure shall not result in accrual of any right, claim or cause of action against
\nthe City. The City also reserves the right to waive any formalities or informalities in bidding, and to
\nselect the bid that, in its opinion, will best serve the interests of the City.<\/p>\n
Late proposals will not be accepted under any circumstances. Any proposal(s) received after the
\nscheduled time for closing will be returned to the proposing firm unopened. Sole responsibility
\nrests with the proposing firm to see that their proposal is received on time.<\/p>\n
No bid will be opened unless the “Bidder’s Proof of Responsibility” for 2025 is filed at least five
\n(5) days before the scheduled time for opening of bids. Reference is made to Section 66.0901(2)
\nand (3) Wisconsin Statutes. The Director of Public Works decision as to qualifications shall be
\nfinal.<\/p>\n
Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, or bank draft, payable to the City of
\nFond du Lac, or satisfactory bid bond, in the amount of 5% of the gross bid as a guarantee that if
\nthe bid is accepted as the successful bid, such successful bidder will execute and file the proposed
