Lakeside Park Rides
Please see the below information for the rides and activities at Lakeside Park.

  • Hours (Open Memorial Day weekend, the weekend following Memorial Day, and then daily beginning Walleye Weekend through Labor Day)
    Monday - Saturday: 11:30 am - 8:00 pm
    Sunday: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm

  • Lakeside Rides features a miniature train, merry go round, and whip. We also offer canoe, kayak, and pedal boat rentals. Three to four people can fit in a canoe or pedal boat and kayak are for one person. Lakeside Rides is a great place to spend a beautiful summer afternoon. We are open every day from 11am to 8pm. Each ride is one ticket per person per ride.

    Canoe rental- $6.00 per hour
    Kayak and pedal boat rentals- $6.00 per half hour


ADELAIDE PARK - 24 acres - Hickory Street and Arndt Street.  Youth baseball diamond with fencing & dugouts, three tennis courts, small marsh with wildlife area, parking lot, BMX track, skate park and 18 hole disc gold course.

BROOKFIELD PARK - 3 .41 acres - Glenwood Drive. Undeveloped natural area along De Nevue creek

BUTTERMILK CREEK PARK - 20 acres - Park Ave & 20th. Sledding hill, five lighted tennis courts with parking lot, two basketballs courts, restrooms, picnic shelter with parking and two playground equipment areas.

PAUL BUTZEN MEMORIAL PARK - 6 acres - Danbury Drive and Kingswood Avenue, Tennis courts, baseball diamond, basketball hoop, play area and volleyball court.

FRANK RUSSELL PARK - 3.4 acres - 2nd Street at Ashland Avenue, Large open area with two softball diamonds, restrooms and picnic tables.

FRANKLIN PARK - 3.025 acres - Military Road at Grove Street. Play area, utility game court, storage shed and large green area for youth ball playing.

HAMILTON PARK - 1.4 acres - Forest Avenue at Sophia Street. Playground, basketball court, pond, police and fire memorial.

HUCKS BELLEVUE PARK - 1 acre - Southgate Drive at Hobbs Lane. Youth baseball diamond, utility game court and playground area.

JEFFERSON PARK - 1.06 acres - Ninth Street at Sherman Street. Fenced and landscaped with lawns and berms and two playground areas.

LAKESIDE PARK - 145.9 acres - North Main Street Limits. Boating harbor, lighthouse, full service marina, animal petting zoo, picnic shelters, large pavilion, volleyball courts, lighted softball diamonds, concession rides and canoe rentals, restrooms, color changing fountain, fishing pier and lagoons, off street parking, gazebos, flower gardens and a large playground equipment area with an accessible playground.

LAKESIDE PARK WEST - 248.2 acres - Highway 45 North and Howard Litscher Drive. Approximately 185 acres of undisturbed wetlands and water, and approximately 60 acres in developed parkland, offshore fishing with parking, twelve launching ramps with car and trailer parking lot, picnic areas, restroom and dog park.

LALLIER PARK - 2.3 acres - National Avenue at Fourth Street. Creek-side park, playground, arbor shelter and rest area.

LEDGEVIEW CENTER - 15 acres - Camelot Drive. Gazebo, walking trail and pond.

McDERMOTT PARK - 14.7 acres - Johnson Street at Coffman Avenue. Picnic shelter, four lighted tennis courts, playground, off-street parking, two softball diamonds, restrooms, shelter building and volleyball court.

McKINLEY PARK - 1.1 acres - Amory Street between Arndt Street and Follett Street. Utility game court, playground and youth baseball diamond.

MINI PARK - .1 of an acre - 10 North Main Street. Benches, through traffic walkway, bike rack and flower bed.

PLAMORE PARK - 3.3 acres - Division Street at Seymour Street. Two softball diamonds and playgrounds.

CATHERINE WHITTIER LEWIS PARK - 2.6 acres - 240 East Second Street. Playground, basketball court and open grass area.

TAYLOR PARK - 10.5 acres - Hickory Street at Emma Street. Olympic size outdoor pool, splash pad, picnic areas, four tennis courts, playground, pavilion, restrooms and utility game court.
