EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
Each month, there are several educational classes offered at our Center.  Whether it is a one day class, or a weekly or monthly series, you will find classes on a wide variety of topics including heatlh and wellness, arts and crafts, exercise and fitness, living well, and more.
DRIVER SAFETY CLASSES

In the past this AARP sponsored class has always been a two-day course, but it is now a one–day course. It consists of ALL IN-CLASS learning – NO tests and NO driving. The cost is $15.00 for AARP members (please bring your card) and $20.00 for non-members. Payment will be made at the start of the class, but pre-registration is required by calling 322-3630.

Why Take a Driver Safety Class?
The AARP Driver Safety Program is the nation's first and largest refresher course for drivers age 50 and older that has helped millions of drivers remain safe on today's roads for over 35 years. The program is a 4-hour classroom refresher that can help you learn the effects of aging on driving and how you can adjust your driving. It is designed to help you:
· Tune up your driving skills and update your knowledge of the rules of the road.
· Learn about normal age-related physical changes, and how to adjust your driving to allow for these changes.
· Reduce your traffic violations, crashes, and chances for injuries.
· Drive more safely.
· Get an auto insurance discount. Many insurance companies provide a multiyear discount to AARP graduates!

The Driver Safety class is offered at the Senior Center several times each year - usually twice in the fall and twice in the spring. Watch this website or the newsletter for information about upcoming classes.

Watch for future classes.

ART & RECREATION CLASSES
