Developmental Marksmanship for the Female Officer-Pistol

The purpose of this two-day course is to improve the female officer shooting performance through classroom exercises and partner skill-building drills in addition to intensive range work.

Dates: July 24 & 25, 2017

Location:  Fox Lake Correctional Range

Train the Trainer: Understanding and Training the Female Shooter

This one-day instructor development class is designed and delivered by experienced female firearms instructors whose intentions are to share the knowledge gained through the years of training women in law enforcement at every level.

Advanced Crisis Negotiations

This course is designed for individuals who have already taken a basic negotiations course and/or understand the basic concepts of a hostage/barricade incident. Topics to be covered include Communicating with the Non-Responder, Tactical Role of the Negotiator and using the Tactical Action Guide, Incident Debriefs and Assessment Exercises, Response Exercises and Scenario Development.  Students will be asked to write their own scenarios as part of the Scenario Development.  The student will learn about negotiation strategies from actual incident debriefs, participate in classrom and practical exercises (scenarios).

Dates: August 8-10, 2017

Location: Fond du Lac High School
