{"id":255,"date":"2019-02-04T14:49:10","date_gmt":"2019-02-04T20:49:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fdl.wi.gov\/hr\/?page_id=255"},"modified":"2019-02-04T14:49:10","modified_gmt":"2019-02-04T20:49:10","slug":"laboratory-intern-wastewater-treatment-resource-recovery-facility","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.fdl.wi.gov\/hr\/laboratory-intern-wastewater-treatment-resource-recovery-facility\/","title":{"rendered":"Laboratory Intern &#8211; Wastewater Treatment &amp; Resource Recovery Facility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The City of Fond du Lac is accepting applications for the position of Laboratory Intern at the Wastewater Treatment &amp; Resource Recovery Facility (WTRRF).<strong>\u00a0 <\/strong>This seasonal position will have the opportunity to learn quantitative and qualitative laboratory techniques used for wastewater analysis including area industries, sanitary districts and waste haulers.<\/p>\n<p>Various duties and responsibilities will include: Sample setup and analysis including total phosphorus, total suspended solids, ammonia, BOD, COD, fecal coliform, nitrates, alkalinity, volatile acids, transmittance, and pH; laboratory maintenance and data entry.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements include high school graduation and ideally current enrollment in a two or four-year college program in chemistry, biology or related science. Proficiency with computers and Microsoft applications is ideal. Scheduled hours are from approximately May \u2013 August from 7:00 am \u2013 3:30 pm.<\/p>\n<p>The pay rate is $11.00\/hour and the application deadline is <u>Friday, February 22, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. <\/u>\u00a0Please click below for application materials, or call (920) 322-3624.
