The purpose of the position is to operate a public bus in the transportation of citizens according to predetermined routes and timetables during the hours of 5:45 a.m. \u2013 6:45 p.m., Monday through Friday. <strong>Applicants must have flexibility to work split shifts and assume other route assignments when needed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Work schedule will be a minimum of \u00ad\u00ad\u00ad20 hours\/week, and other hours as needed to conduct Transit services.\u00a0The schedule will be based on the candidate\u2019s availability,\u00a0and the employer is willing to work with the right person to accommodate their schedule.<\/p>\n<p>Hourly contractual wage \u2013 $24.66 at time of hire; $25.91 within 6 months; $27.16 within 12 months; $28.24 within 18 months; $29.64 within 24 months; $30.88 within 30 months (2025 \u2013 2027 wage schedule). In addition, pandemic hazard pay equal to two ($2) per hour for 2026; and two ($2) per hour for 2027. Additional benefits include paid time off; health, life, dental, and vision insurance; long-term disability; 457 and Roth retirement plans; and participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System.
