Reaching Out ~ Touching Lives<\/h4><\/h1><\/span>
<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Our Outreach Program connects volunteers with seniors in our community to enhance their quality of life. During Covid, we focused on writing and sending greeting cards – a program that continues today.\u00a0 We send out over 1000 cards a month to our local senior living communities!\u00a0 We are always looking for ways to expand our reach to increase socialization and friendship as we create our “Center Without Walls”.\u00a0 In addition to card writing, we pair our volunteers up to offer enrichment activities at senior living communities\u00a0 – activities that match each volunteer’s talents and passions. OUTREACH PROGRAMS<\/h5>\n

  • Community Card Writing\n
      \n
    • Volunteers write greeting cards that are delivered monthly to residents in a senior living communities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Community Threads\n
        \n
      • Volunteer readers gather with senior living residents to share a story and then talk about stories from their own lives that weave together a variety of memories.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Community Enrichment Activity\n
          \n
        • Volunteers visit a senior living community and participate in an organized activity. Activities vary from game days to sing-a-longs, holiday cookie decorating to seasonal bingo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>
