The City of Fond du Lac is accepting applications for a Geographic Information System (GIS) Intern. This position will assist with the development and maintenance of our enterprise GIS.
Candidates should have the skills to perform the following tasks: GIS data conversion and creation; QA/QC; map creation; web-based map development; programming and scripting; and field data collection using tablet devices and GPS receivers. Candidates should be familiar with working with enterprise geodatabases, interpreting plan drawings, and creating topologically consistent data for municipal infrastructure.
Qualifications: applicants must be in a GIS-related field of study, and should have experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Python and Arcade scripting, and the Microsoft Office suite.
The wage for this position is $19.00 per hour. Applications reviewed upon receipt.
