About Planning & Zoning

Community Development staff provides information and guidance regarding local zoning and land use laws, long range planning, floodplain development, land divisions, downtown design, site plan review and development-related issues.

The Department reviews and processes requests for variances, downtown design, special use permits, rezoning, annexation, certified survey maps, plats, code amendments, and other discretionary approvals.
