City of Fond du Lac Initial Appearances and Court Trials take place at the City/County Government Building, 160 South Macy Street, Fond du Lac, WI 54935 in the Legislative Chambers on 1st Floor. To determine when your court date and time is, look in the left upper corner of your citation.

Juvenile citations that were issued by a City of Fond du Lac School Resource Officer are heard by Lakeside Municipal Court at Fond du Lac High School (high school juvenile citations) or the Fond du Lac School District Administrative Offices (middle school juvenile citations)

Entering A Plea
You may enter a plea to your citation in person during your scheduled Initial Appearance date. To enter a plea to your municipal citation in writing, please fill out the Plea Form and return it to Lakeside Municipal Court before your hearing.
Failure to timely return your Plea Form or appear in person on your hearing date will result in Lakeside Municipal Court issuing a default judgment.
