The City of Fond du Lac is accepting applications for a Geographic Information System (GIS) intern. This position will assist with GIS project support across various City departments, as well as the development and maintenance of the City’s enterprise GIS.
All candidates must either have GIS experience or be in a GIS-related field of study; and must have experience with using Microsoft Office products. Candidates should have the skills and experience necessary to perform the following tasks: GIS data conversion and creation; field data collection; attribute population; data QA/QC; and map creation using ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online. Ideal candidates should be familiar with interpreting CAD plan drawings; Python and Arcade scripting; and geodatabase creation, design, and maintenance.
The wage range for this position is $14.00 to $17.00 per hour. Applications reviewed upon receipt.
