The Fond du Lac Recreation Department will be hiring Lifeguards to work at the Outdoor Pools and/or indoor Aquatic Center for the summer.
Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week, including weekends.
Pay Rate:
- Guards – $13.75/hour at hire
- Opportunity to become a Pool Supervisor after at least 1 year Successful Service
- All guards working outdoors receive an additional $1/hour upon working 150 or more hours with successful performance.
Various duties and responsibilities include:
- Ensure pool is a safe facility by enforcing rules and regulations.
- Ensure supervision and safety of pool guests.
- Guard open swim, lap swim, lessons and fitness classes.
Requirements include:
- Must have a recognized Lifeguard Certification.
- May be required to demonstrate lifeguard skills and rescues.
- Work Outdoors, in a team atmosphere.
