The City of Fond du Lac is accepting applications for long-term seasonal employment in the Department of Public Works Department. Work schedules consist of 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, with some weekend work required.  Seasonal work varies in nature, requiring continuous outdoor activity, including heavy lifting.

Starting hourly rate:  $20.33

Various duties and responsibilities include:

  • Continuous outdoor activity, including heavy lifting.
  • Some weekend work required.

Requirements include:

  • Be at least 18 years of age at time of hire.
  • Be able to lift at least 75 lbs.
  • Possess a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License.
  • Physical exam and drug-screening test prior to employment.
  • Possess a valid Wisconsin Commercial Class “A” Driver’s license without air brake restrictions and with tanker endorsement (preferred).
