Fond du Lac Public Library’s Idea Studio makerspace team is looking for flexible and versatile Pre-Service Teachers (PST) to support the delivery of the Design Lab Summer and Academic Year Programs. Summer Design Lab is an innovative arts-integrated day camp for 3rd-5th grade students in the Fond du Lac School District. Academic Year Design Lab sessions are focused on concepts on Design Thinking and solving real world problems. The goal of the SEED Project is to develop communities’ capacity to create and sustain high-quality, engaging, and equitable STEAM programs for underrepresented students in an effort to build arts-integrated educational pathways to a more diverse creative workforce, with project sites located in California, Maryland and Wisconsin. Design Lab’s mission is to empower young innovators to think differently about themselves and their world.
