Fond du Lac Area Transit (FDLAT) would like to inform the public about changes to the bus system. Starting Monday, March 23, 2020 FDLAT will cut all extra routes during peak hours in the morning and afternoon but will continue to run from 6:00am – 6:30pm. Passengers will only be able to board through the rear passenger door of the bus. Our ADA customers will still be able to board using the ramp via the front door. FDLAT will charge no fare in hope of limiting any exposure to our drivers or passengers. This will include both fixed route buses and handi-vans.  In addition to these changes, FDLAT will also close the bus shelter located at the corner of Rees and Macy Street.

FDLAT is also requesting the following from our passengers:

  • Riders should only ride for essential reasons: work, medical, and nutrition
  • For your safety, please use the 6 foot social distancing rule
  • Drivers will not handle any items from passengers, this includes bus vouchers

As this situation is highly fluid, please be aware the bus service may change at any time. FDLAT continues to monitor local, state, and federal guidelines and will keep you informed.
