Task Of Board

To foster the goals of the Downtown Development Plan Arts, Education and Entertainment District and to provide insight or recommendations to the Director of Public Works regarding the incorporation of the arts in the public works projects on City property throughout the City.

Membership Qualifications

  1. Residence within city limits.  Membership will continue for duration of term should member relocate from the City.  *Up to two members of the Board may be property owners or representatives of owners within the downtown area that are non-residents of the City.
  2. Readiness to devote time and effort to carrying out duties of Committee
  3. Sincere interest in and commitment to the goals of the Downtown
  4. Good judgment, intelligence and objectivity.

Method Of Appointment

City Council confirms to a 3-year term expiring April 30th.

3:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month at the City-County Government Center, Meeting Room A
