Shared ride taxi is a general public shared ride taxi arrangement between Fond du Lac Area Transit and a private city taxi company for individuals within the City of Fond du Lac who reside or wish to travel more than 1/4 mile from a fixed bus route and within a designated Shared ride taxi service area. Who is eligible to use SHARED RIDE TAXI?
Any person within the City of Fond du Lac or Village of North Fond du Lac whose pickup or drop off points are more than 3/4 mile from a fixed bus route and within a designated Shared ride taxi service area.

What are SHARED RIDE TAXI days and hours of service?
City of Fond du Lac: Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 6:30pm
Village of North Fond du Lac: Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 6:30 pm
No Saturday, Sunday or holiday service.
There are two special SHARED RIDE TAXI major holiday service exceptions:
Shared ride taxi will operate in the city and village when fixed route buses do not operate from 12:00 to 6:30 pm on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and New Years Eve and New Years Day.
How do I schedule a SHARED RIDE TAXI trip?
Call Shared ride taxi by 4:30 p.m. the weekday before. Same day requests will be accommodated as vehicle schedule and capacity permits.
What does SHARED RIDE TAXI cost?
Ages 5 to 64: $5.00 or $4.25 if a person holds a current monthly bus pass. Children less than five (5) years old accompanied by an adult: $2.50. Seniors 65 years
and over, with a FDLAT Special Fare Card, or with a Medicare Card: $2.50.
