Dumpster/Trailer/PODS Permits
A Dumpster/Trailer/PODS Permit is required when a request is made to obstruct any part of the City right-of-way (public roadway, highway, street, or public sidewalk). Examples may include dumpster placement, parking a trailer or moving truck in front of a residence/business, or delivery of materials. There is not a fee for this permit.
The permit request for the placement of the structure in the right-of-way must be completed and submitted to the Engineering Division by the owner of the structure and not the resident. An Engineer will review the application and may include placement guidelines. The permit is subject to revocation if unfavorable traffic conditions develop during the period that obstruction is permitted, or if incorrect/improper traffic control devices are used.
