The Fond du Lac Fire/ Rescue Honor Guard serves to provide honor, dignity and respect for our fallen brothers and sisters of the fire service and their families. To respect and represent the flags with pride and integrity, while maintaining a commitment to the traditions of the fire service. The Honor Guard participates in presenting and posting of the colors, funeral ceremonies for Line-of-Duty Deaths across the State of Wisconsin, retiree funerals, and active duty funerals, as well as parades, and any other memorials or services where an honor guard would be appropriate. The members are incredibly dedicated to their position, and take their sacred task very seriously.
Several of our members also service with the Professional Firefighters of Wisconsin Honor Guard http://www.pffwstatehonorguard.org/ which seeks to provide the same services, relying on members from across the State of Wisconsin.
