The City of Fond du Lac, along with many other communities, are involved in a statewide monitoring program. The Wisconsin Wastewater Monitoring Program tests samples of wastewater across the state to track levels of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. This project is a collaboration between the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Wisconsin State Lab of Hygiene, Milwaukee Health Department Lab, and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
